The Town of Johnson, VT held its last and final weekly Emergency Management Team meeting. Vermont Governor Phil Scott spoke with the community about where Vermont is currently and where it is headed for in the future. Governor Scott signed Vermont Bill H.958; an act relating to communications union districts (CUD) into law live in the Johnson meeting. This bill will temporarily authorize municipal legislative bodies to vote on entering into a CUD. A Communications Union District (CUD) is an organization of two or more towns that join together as a municipal entity to build communication infrastructure together.
