Lidia Lehouillier sings to the Town of Johnson, Vermont 6/12/20
Lidia Lehouillier sang to the Town of Johnson this week! Lidia is in 8th Grade. Come together while we practice social distancing. Your voice invited the new season of changes for our community. Thank you, Lidia! Bor Yang, Executive Director of the Vermont Human Rights Commission spoke with the Town of Johnson about the evolving ways to address white supremacy. In light of George Floyd’s murder by the Minneapolis Police Department, Bor wrote an article in the Vermont Digger where she addresses the conversation that needs to take place right now and sets forth demands for ways to build a community of trust, support, and accountability. You can find Bor’s article here: https://vtdigger.org/2020/06/04/bor-y… Bor allowed ample space for citizens to address some of their hardships during her Q&A session.
