Lamoille County Virtual Forum: from Recovery to Renewal and Resilience

Community members from the Lamoille County region came together virtually on September 24th from 6:30-8:30 pm in 3 breakout groups – Building community unity & connection; Business recovery & telecommunications; and Meeting individual and family Needs (food, housing, healthcare, childcare) – to share ideas for equitable economic recovery and renewal actions.

Lamoille County breakout session notes and video links, survey inputs, and visiting team contact information will be posted here when available. In addition, as we work together towards recovery, the Governor’s Action Team is collecting and sharing recovery strategies and promising practices on this website. When the 14 regional forums are complete in October, the COVID-19 Local Solutions and Community Action Team of the Governor’s Economic Mitigation and Recovery Task Force will document progress, findings, and ongoing needs to contribute to the next stages of work and public policy.

The COVID-19 Local Solutions and Community Action Team established by Gov Phil Scott is hosting 14 virtual regional forums across the state in partnership with regional and local leaders, and are facilitated by the Vermont Council on Rural Development.
