Current Topics in Science Series – Nancy Gell, PhD, PT
Each fall, the Department of Environmental and Health Sciences at Northern Vermont University-Johnson, hosts a popular speaker series featuring experts on topics in science for EHS students, faculty, and campus community members.
The presentations are one of the many ways NVU-Johnson provides learning opportunities beyond the classroom to help students expand their knowledge and make connections with professionals in their fields of study.
The presentations are scheduled for Wednesday afternoons and coordinated by EHS faculty Emily Tarleton, Ph.D., and Clemencia Caporale. Due to COVID-19, all presentations this year are offered via Zoom and run from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. Please join us for the 26th Annual Current Topics in Science Lecture Series.
This week’s Current Topics in Science Series presenter was Nancy Gell, PhD, PT,
Associate Professor, Rehab & Movement Science, University of Vermont.
His presentation was titled: If Exercise Is So Good For Us, Why Don’t People Do It? Understanding Physical Activity Behavior Through A COVID-19 Pandemic Lens.
