Current Topics in Science Series – Emily Arturo, PhD
Each fall, the Department of Environmental and Health Sciences at Northern Vermont University-Johnson, hosts a popular speaker series featuring experts on topics in science for EHS students, faculty, and campus community members.
The presentations are one of the many ways NVU-Johnson provides learning opportunities beyond the classroom to help students expand their knowledge and make connections with professionals in their fields of study.
The presentations are scheduled for Wednesday afternoons and coordinated by EHS faculty Emily Tarleton, Ph.D., and Clemencia Caporale. Due to COVID-19, all presentations this year are offered via Zoom and run from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. Please join us for the 26th Annual Current Topics in Science Lecture Series.
This week’s Current Topics in Science Series presenter was Emily Arturo, PhD
La Jolla Institute of Immunology, CA Division of Structural Biology & Infectious Diseases
His presentation was titled: Coronavirus is Not an Invisible Enemy: Using Microscopy to See Virus Particles and How to Use This Information To Design Vaccines Against Them.
